Causative Verbs

       Causative Verbs adalah kata kerja yang digunakan untuk meminta/menyuruh orang lain atau sesuatu untuk melakukan pekerjaan (aktifitas).

#. Causative Verbs

1. Make = ( force) » Memaksa,
                               memerintah,
                               menyuruh.

   Pola :

   S + Make + O + Bare Infinitive (V¹)

e.g

> Reza make his sister tidy her
   room up. (Active meaning)
> Ainan make his friend return his book
   soon. (Active meaning)

        Jika dalam bentuk passive, maka 'make' diikuti 'to infinitive' (bukan 'bare infinitive'), seperti:

> Reza's sister was made by him to tidy
   her room up.
> Ainan's friend was made by him to
   return his book soon.

2. Have = (ask) » Meminta

    Pola:
  
     S + Have + O + Bare Infinitive (V¹)/
                              Past Participle (V³)

e.g

> Riyan have his sister take an apple in
   the refrigerator. (Active meaning)
> Mother have Galuh finish his
   homework. (Active meaning)

> Riyan had an apple taken (by his
   sister) in the refrigerator. (Passive
   meaning)
> Mother had the homework finished
   (by Galuh). ( Passive meaning)

3. Get = (persuade)  » Merayu,
                                  membujuk,   
                                  mengajak.

    Pola:
    
    S + Get + O + To Infinitive (To + V¹)/
                           Past Participle (V³)

e.g
 
  > The students get the teacher to
     dismiss the class early. (Active 
     meaning
  > I get my friend to buy toys for me.
     (Active meaning)

  > The students get the class
     dismissed early ( by the teacher).
     (Passive meaning)
  >  I get the toys bought for me
      (by my friend). (Passive meaning)
